  • Is it possible to give another way?

    Yes. You can give by mailing a check to our home church missions agency. Mailing address:

    Ensure the check is payable to Lifeway Baptist Church and write "God's Kingdom Work" on the memo line. Also see the two additional ways under "Other Giving Options" (see above).

  • How do I know online giving is secure?

    This website is secured with an SSL (secure socket layer) Certificate which is used by most all online major companies for transaction protection. Information entered (such as a credit card number) is encrypted with 256-bit level encryption. Furthermore, we use Tithely, which is a widely trusted online church giving service for processing all online donations, they state: "We take data and payment information security very seriously. All sensitive financial information is stored with bank level security. All information transmitted to our banking partner and on our site is done via an encrypted HTTPS (SSL) connection; and stored by our banking partner to PCI DSS Level 1 compliant standards."

  • How do I change the amount of my recurring donations?

    "In order to change your recurring gift amount...you will need to cancel your existing recurring gift and then setup a new recurring gift. You can cancel your current gift by heading to your tithe.ly account, logging into your online account, and clicking on the 'Recurring Giving' tab from the menu or the 'Automated' button from the home screen. From here just click the red trash can next to the gift you wish to cancel." Once you have canceled the previous payment, you must set up a new donation to continue automated, repeat giving for the new amount you want. When setting the new amount of your next donation, simply click the give button and turn on the "Setup automated giving" option and select your preferred giving schedule (i.e. "Every month").   • How do I change/update my payment method?

    If you already have an account with Tithe.ly and would like to change your payment information, you can do so from the Tithe.ly app or by logging into your account online and clicking on "Payment Methods" in the menu bar. You will need to delete your old form of payment and add a new one.

    If you already have an account with Tithe.ly and would like to add a new credit card, debit card, and/or bank account, you can do so from the Tithe.ly app or by logging into your account online at: https://tithe.ly/give.

    To add a payment method from the Tithe.ly app or online, follow these steps:

    1. Login to your Tithe.ly account at https://tithe.ly/give from your web browser or open the Tithe.ly app from your smartphone.

    2. Click "Payment Methods" from the home screen or click on the menu located in the top left corner and then click on "payment methods".

    3. To add a credit or debit card, be sure you've selected "credit/debit" from the bottom tabs, then click on the green plus (+) icon.

    4. Enter your card information and click "Add card".

    5. To add a bank account, be sure you've selected "bank account" from the bottom tabs, then click on the green plus (+) icon. You have two ways to add a bank account: Click on the "Sign in with online banking" button and use your online banking credentials to connect your bank account to Tithe.ly or you can enter your bank account number and routing number and click "save and continue."

  • How is my donation tax deductible?

    Lifeway Baptist Church serves as our sending church and clearing-house; therefore, all donations are received through Lifeway's federally-recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit church organization making your online donations tax deductible. Please note that designated transmittals (birthday/Christmas gifts, etc.) are not tax deductible.

  • Am I charged a fee for my online donation?

    Nope! There are no hidden fees for you as the donor to pay. However, Tithely does charge us (the missionary) a processing fee for using their service (2.9% processing fee for credit and 1% for ACH/Bank transactions). There is an option for the donor to pay for the transaction fee, but donors are not obligated to pay any fees at all.

  • Will I get a receipt?

    Yes. Immediately following your donation, you will receive a digital receipt to the email address you provided. If you decide to set up an online giving account during the donation process, you can view every transaction from your Tithely account.

  • Do I have to set up an account to give?

    No. You do not have to make an account to give a one-time donation. However, if you'd like to make giving as easy as possible and have the opportunity to take advantage of all the online giving features such as donation history, you'll have to create an account.

  • How do I log into my giving account?

    You can log into your account through the web from a computer or by downloading Tithely's iPhone/Android app.

  • Can I set up automatic and reoccurring donations?

    Yes. It is simple. During the donation process, select the option "Setup Automatic Giving?" before finishing the transaction.

  • How do I change the date of my automatically reoccurring donations?

    First you have to cancel your existing reoccurring donation, then you can setup a new giving date. See below on how to cancel reoccurring donations.

  • Can I cancel future reoccurring donations?

    Yes. You may cancel reoccurring donations at anytime. To cancel your current gift, head over to your tithe.ly account, log in to your account, and click on the 'Recurring Giving' tab from the menu or the 'Automated' button from the home screen.   • Can I get a full refund for my donation?

    Yes. All donations are refundable. However, you must contact us or our financial administrator to request a refund. Refunds will take 7-10 business days to be deposited into your bank account after a refund has been issued.

  • How do I contact you or the financial administrator?

    Visit our contact page to send us a message anytime or you may email the financial administrator for a refund. Please ensure you include attention to "God's Kingdom Work" in the subject line and send a message with the transaction ID you would like refunded.
